All art prints from Imagery Editions are printed to gilcee standards. Giclee term created from a French term meaning “to spray with ink.” Graham Nash inspired these high quality prints with iris printers by in 1993. Epson has become the industry leader in these digital art prints. He was an innovator in using ink printers to print on canvas and watercolor papers. Over the years Epson has become the industry leader in giclee printing. Imagery Editions uses k3 ultrachrome epson inks, printed on Epson ultra smooth fine art papers. Imagery Editions printing also has the capabilities to print on canvas papers for art reproductions or enhanced matte for proofing for regular printing projects.
The giclee photographs are printed to speciality chosen papers to enhance and match the tones and textures of the photographs. The sepia tone photographs are printed on Natural white fine art papers. The highly detailed and colorful giclee photographs are printed on Epson smooth fine art paper the hold all the rich details, and color saturation.
Each giclee print is signed and numbered by the artist on the back of the artwork. The giclee artwork comes with a certificated of authenticity with the title, artist, quality inspections, and editions number.
How Are the
Giclee Prints Shipped?
After the artwork is printed, it is signed and numbered by the artist. The certificate of authenticity with artworks title, artist, and numbered print edition is place with the artwork. The art print and certificate of authentic is then placed into an archival bag and rolled into a secure shipping tube. Your print will be in the mail within 2-3 business days and with standard shipping should only take about one week for you to receive your art print in the mail.
Framing My Print
Imagery Editions can frame your prints for an additional cost. Add an additional $ 70.00 for an 18” x 24” frame with mat on your 12” x 18” prints or $100.00 for a 30” x 24” frame and mat. You can also take your shipped art work to the local frame shop or buy a frame from a local retailer and frame the giclee print yourself.
