Sycamore Pool - One Mile Park

Sycamore Pool at Bidwell Park is a community pool in Chico CA. This photograph captures the fall leaves from the surrounding sycamore trees settling at the bottom of the pool. Sycamore Pool is famous for the warm swimming hole and the polar bar swim on New Years Day. The photograph was taken with a polarized filter to reduce the glare to see to the sycamore leaves. Sycamore Pool reflects a sycamore tree, blending with its leaves that have fallen to the depths of the pool.
